In this issue of our newsletter, we are focusing on soy waxes. We now carry Golden Brands Golden Wax GB402, GB415, GB464 and GB444 waxes. Soy waxes have continued to grow in popularity over the last several years. Why is that you say? Continue reading...

Benefits of Soy Wax
Many people ask what really makes soy candles different from other candles available in the market. There are several reasons why soy candles are favored over paraffin candles.
- Soy wax is a completely natural and renewable resource
- It's non-toxic
- Burns clean
- Produces measurably less soot than other waxes. When burned correctly it is virtually soot-free
- The flake form in which soy waxes come are easier to measure and work with than traditional paraffin slabs
- Helps support the American farmer
- Candle spills clean up easier. Simply use soap and hot water to get the wax out of carpets or upholstery
- Longer burn time than with some paraffin waxes
Some candlemakers prefer one type of wax over another while others like to use all different types of wax, both paraffin, soy, and a blend of both. They all make great candles...just in different ways.

Fall is Just Around the Corner...
Before you know it, Autumn will be here. To help you get prepared, we have highlighted some of our most popular Fall fragrances below.

Quick Tip:
Heating Soy Wax
Melt your soy wax but don't let it heat above the suggested temperature. Overheating the wax may cause it to not set correctly - it may turn white, the top of the wax won't be smooth, or it will sink slightly.
