Here at Lone Star Candle Supply, online
ordering is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with our SECURE
SERVER. By placing your order online, you have the luxury of knowing
exactly what your shipping costs will be since shipping charges are calculated
automatically as you enter items into the shopping cart. Of course, if you prefer, you can place your order by
phone, or call with any questions during our normal business hours listed
at the bottom of this page. We have NO minimum order!!
1. Ordering In
order to remain efficient in our ability to process your order quickly we must
insist that orders cannot be changed (or combined) once they are placed.
Please be sure that you have ordered what you need and that you have entered
everything correctly BEFORE submitting your order. If you discover that
you have left something off, you will simply need to place another order and it
will be treated as a completely separate order. If you discover that you have entered
incorrect information by mistake and it will affect our ability to process your
order correctly, please CALL US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
rather than email. We are unable to check the email nearly as often as we
wish.
2. Billing Please
ensure that adequate funds are available BEFORE placing your order.
Declined credit/debit card orders hinder our ability to serve you as quickly as
possible. In the event that your credit/debit card is declined, we will
contact you. DO NOT send your credit/debit card by email or by leaving it
on our voicemail system. If you try to contact us during hours that we are
not here, please simply leave a number where we can contact you. All declined orders will be
discarded within 1 week of the date it was placed. Please, please do not
place an order to SEE if your card will clear.
COD orders are sent COD CASH ONLY, which are
payable only by Cashier's Check or Money
Order . DO NOT attempt to pay the UPS
driver with a check, personal or business. We limit COD orders
to $500. Unless you have prior authorization from Lone Star Candle
Supply, we will not process any COD order that is over $500 (total). We
also do not ship COD using any express shipping method (UPS Next Day Air, UPS
2nd Day Air, or UPS 3-day Select). When ordering COD, the order must be
shipped by UPS Ground. If you choose
this payment method, you will need to have your payment ready for the UPS
driver. If you place your order by phone, we will call you with the
total once the order has been processed (and had the appropriate shipping
cost added to it).
3. Return Policy We
are so confident in our products that we will accept returns within 30 days of
your original purchase if you are not satisfied. Due
to sanitary reasons, we do not accept returns for consumable merchandise.
This includes fragrances, dyes, waxes, and additives. This policy is for
your benefit to ensure that you get a safe, sanitary and 100% un-altered product
that has not been contaminated by any outside sources. For this
reason, we recommend ordering sample sizes of these products (when available)
before buying a larger quantity. Returns must be received in good, un-used
condition in order to be accepted. If items are not received in re-salable
condition, they may not be accepted or credited. Unless due to an error on
our part or if the merchandise is defective, the return will be subject to a 15%
re-stocking fee to cover the costs of packaging, labor, and credit-card fees we
have incurred. In-store credit only is issued, no cash refunds or credit
card refunds will be issued unless due to an error on our part.
4. Shipping
The map at the bottom of the page indicates UPS's time in transit
information for GROUND shipments.
When trying to determine how long it will take for
you to receive your shipment and which shipping method to choose, make sure to
take all of the following into account:
A. The number of BUSINESS
days WE will take to pack & ship your order. (This varies throughout the
year - current info available at the top of our home page)
B. The number of BUSINESS
days UPS will take to deliver to your area of the country (See the map at the
bottom of the page to
determine the # of days for your area.)
C. Also remember that the
actual day that your order is shipped DOES NOT count as a day in transit for
UPS. See the examples below.
| Example: Jane Doe lives in Indianapolis,
IN. She places her order on Monday and requests UPS ground
shipping. We then pack & ship her order on
Tuesday because our homepage says that it currently takes only 1 business day to process orders. (Remember
this is an example, our processing times vary throughout the year.) According to the map, UPS takes 3 days to get to
her. Since Tuesday does NOT count as a
day in transit, the 3 days UPS will have the package are Wednesday,
Thursday, and Friday. Therefore she should expect delivery on
Friday.
Example: John Doe lives in
Austin, TX. He places his order on Thursday and requests UPS ground
shipping. We then pack & ship his order on
Friday because our homepage says that it currently takes only 1 business day to process orders. (Remember
this is an example, our processing times vary throughout the year.) According to the map, UPS takes
1 day to get to him. Since Friday does
NOT count as a day in transit, and neither do Saturday or Sunday since
they are not business days, the 1 day UPS will have the package is
Monday. Therefore he should expect delivery on Monday.
Example: Jack Doe lives in
Seattle, WA. He places his order on Thursday and requests UPS RED
shipping. We then pack & ship his order on
Friday because our homepage says that it currently takes only 1 business day to process orders. (Remember
this is an example, our processing times vary throughout the year.) No need to refer to the map for
transit time. UPS takes 1 day to deliver UPS Red shipments. Since
Friday does NOT count as a day in transit, and neither do Saturday or
Sunday since they are not business days, the 1 day UPS will have the
package is Monday. Therefore he should expect delivery on
Monday. |
It is important to note that even when you select
express shipping methods such as UPS Red (Next day), UPS Blue (2nd day), and UPS
Orange (Third day), this simply reduces the amount of time UPS takes to deliver
the package to you. The time it takes us to process your shipment DOES NOT
CHANGE.
It is also important to note that the day of
shipment does NOT count as a day in transit because packages are not picked up
by UPS from our dock until 5:00PM the day that your order ships, so obviously
that day can not be used as a day in transit.
Other Important Notes:
Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays are NOT business
days.
There are higher costs associated with express shipping methods. (Your
shipping costs are calculated online)
During the busy season, order processing times are increased although we do our
best to ship quickly.
As always, if you have any questions please feel
free to call or email. Thanks!
