Pretabbed & Prewaxed
Wick Clip Assemblies
These wicks have all been pre-waxed (primed),
cut to the specified length, and tabs have already been crimped on.
They are all ready for use. We offer a large variety of diameters
(sizes) and lengths in several different styles. You may need to experiment to
get the correct size and style wick for the candle you are making.
You should always test burn your candle to determine which wick is best
suited to your application.
All of our wicks
are made with a taller 10mm
neck wicktab (unless otherwise noted). The taller neck helps ensure
more safety because it prevents the bottom 3/8" of the candle from burning
(since there's no wicking left). This is a critical safety
precaution. We are the only supplier, that we know of, that uses the
taller, more expensive tabs as the standard wicktab on all wick clip
assemblies. We simply want to provide our customers with a higher
level of safety.
Please note
that the information provided in the "Recommended Application" column
is only a recommendation, not a guarantee. Also keep in
mind that most of our recommended applications are based upon the wick being
used in a traditional base paraffin wax. "Single Pour" paraffin waxes
and vegetable waxes, (such as soy wax), generally require a larger wick
than a traditional paraffin wax. This means, when using a single
pour or soy wax, you will probably need to upsize your wick 1,2, or
even 3 sizes to achieve the same size melt pool that would be achieved in
a typical paraffin wax. The only exception is our ECO line of wicks,
which are designed for vegetable waxes such as the soy wax. For this
line of wicks, we based our recommendations assuming you are using soy wax
so upsizing from the recommendations we made should not be necessary. As with any process in
manufacturing your candles, you should always test burn to ensure proper wick
selection.

DOTS™
The ultimate solution to keeping your wicks perfectly centered in your
jars without having to use those messy, dangerous hot glue guns or expensive
super-glue. Highly adhesive
GLUE DOTS™ come on a roll inside a
handy dispensing box. You simply press the tab of your pretabbed wick onto the
wick sticker to remove it from the roll (which is wax paper, so it is removed
very easily). Then, simply press firmly down into the center of your jar and
