Your Partner In Candle Making Since 1999

Established in 1999 by a father-son duo with hands-on experience making candles, Lone Star Candle Supply is a family business that has grown from a single Texas warehouse into a five-warehouse national supplier. When you speak with our team, you are receiving guidance from a team that has personally helped tens of thousands of makers over the years with achieving the perfect pour.

Whether you pour ten candles a month or ten thousand, nearly every product carries volume-tier pricing that lowers your cost as you scale. That's wholesale pricing without a separate account or minimum. See wholesale pricing.

Frequently Asked Questions

What candle making supplies do I need to get started?

A first candle needs four things — wax, a fragrance oil, a wick, and a vessel — plus a pouring pot and thermometer. Our candle making kits bundle everything for a first pour, or shop each category individually.

Do you offer wholesale pricing on candle making supplies?

Yes. Nearly every product carries volume-tier pricing that drops the per-unit cost as you buy more — the same as wholesale, with no separate account required. See wholesale candle supplies for the details.

Where do you ship candle making supplies from?

We ship from five U.S. warehouses — Keller TX, Ontario CA, Plainfield IN, Northampton PA, and Orlando FL — so most orders reach a carrier that delivers in one to two business days. Local pickup is free at all five warehouses. Our Keller, TX location has no order minimum; the other four require a $250 subtotal (before taxes) to qualify.

Are your fragrance oils phthalate-free?

Many are. We publish the phthalate status on every fragrance oil, and you can shop the phthalate-free fragrance oils directly. We also flag gel-wax-safe and non-discoloring oils for those projects.
