This wax has replaced the former IGI 1343 Cut N Curl Wax
This fully refined paraffin wax is not as brittle as typical paraffin waxes making it ideal for creating "cut and carve" candles. It can also be used to make pillar candles.
- Fragrance oil retention of 3% is typical. Higher fragrance loads may require the use of additives such as Vybar 103.
- Good mold release.
- Average pouring temperature is between 170-180°F.
- Melt point - 138°F
- Flash point - 400°F
- Good burn characteristics.
- Even shrinkage, without cracking or spotting.

NOTE: During the hotter months of the year, this wax can slightly melt during shipping to or from our location. It does not hurt the wax or change its characteristics, other than it may cause the slabs to stick together and to the box.
